A workshop to reconnect with nature - Sun 17 July 2011
The pace of everyday lives can all too easily cut us off from the revitalising energy of nature. This workshop will give you the opportunity to explore your connection to nature through your senses.
During the workshop you will learn to open your senses, attune with the invigorating energy of spring and early summer and come to a deeper sense of connection with nature. We will teach you simple but powerful ways to enhance your sensory awareness and share creative exercises that can catalyse personal change.
Nature is where we come from, and it’s where we are most at ease. Taking time out from our ever increasingly busy lives to spend time in nature has a wealth of beneficial impacts on our psychological, mental, emotional and physical well being.
We both so enjoyed the workshop – it was a very positive day and we came away relaxed but revitalised. On the walk to work this morning I suddenly realised I wasn’t listening to the sounds around me, as so much was going on in my head. So I focused and instantly heard a beautiful birdsong, which sent me on my way with a smile! Stan and Margaret attended the workshop on 8 May 2011.

Workshop details:
Time: meet 11.30am for 12.00 start – 16.30.
Cost: £20 advance bookings, £25 on the day, concessionary rate £15
What to wear?
Please wear sturdy shoes, walking boots or trainers, layers of clothes so that you can keep warm and comfortable throughout the day and as well as a raincoat.
What to bring?
A rucksack (rather than a shoulder bag), plenty of water and some lunch to share.
