This is a big event, tying in with the BBC’s Springwatch fortnight of programmes. Including a magical willow weaving workshop with Willowpool Designs from Cumbria , a wildlife gardening workshop led by young people, pond dipping, bug hunting, close up minibeast encounter, guided walks, birdwatching, face painting, music, quiz and prize trails, food and stalls to browse.
Most of the activities will take place in the day before 4pm and then there will be quieter activities in the evening to wind down.
