Join ‘The Wave’ – the UK’s biggest ever demonstration in support of action on climate change.
On Saturday 5 December The Wildlife Trusts (staff and volunteers) will be joining tens of thousands of people marching through London to demonstrate our support for a safe climate future. The march is being organised by the Stop Climate Chaos Coalition ahead of the crucial UN climate summit in Copenhagen.
Please join us at the blue themed event and show your support by wearing blue clothing and bringing blue fabric and banners to create a human wave that will flow along the Thames Embankment towards Westminster. The march begins at 12pm at Grosvenor Square and a finale will take place at 3pm as The Wave encircles the Houses of Parliament.
Let me know if you are thinking of coming so we can get an idea about numbers and perhaps plan some banners – would be brilliant to get a decent sized contingent of LWT staff and vols together in their best blue togs…
