Come and learn how to save some cash by collecting, cleaning and storing seeds from your garden to sow next year.
This comprehensive workshop run by Beth Barber, formerly of the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and Chelsea Physic garden, will cover all aspects of the topic including:


• Why save your own seeds?
• Will they come true? And does it matter?
• Likely germination rates
• How do I know it’s ripe?
• Ideal collecting conditions
• Drying seed and cleaning
• Appropriate storage conditions
There will also be a short walkabout to identify and collect ripe seed.
