Thursday 22nd September 2011 – 10:00 Meet at outside the Coronet Cinema, The New Kent Road, London, SE1 6TJ – Near Elephant and Castle tube – 10:30 – 11:30 Forest walk – from the Urban Forester at Elephant and Castle Urban Forest – 11:30 – 1:00 Making simple woodland creature costume – Lyla Patel from TRAID – 1:00 – 2:00 Lunch – Ways to smell, taste, feel and hear the forest in a classroom in London – Anna Portch from LEEF (based on the Orangutan Foundation Rainforest Resource Pack she developed) – 2:00 – 3:30 – Finding art in the forest – Marlis Scholz an artist with more than 10 years’ experience of running art in nature workshops – 3:30 – 4:00 – Sharing of ideas for celebrating forests by participants
