Join us at Crane Park Island for an introductory course for everyone planning to work with with students around water. The London Wildlife Trust will be introducing their techniques and knowledge, on the wildlife in water and how to identify it.

Programme
How to use local ponds and streams. The afternoon will include – Water insect identification – Water health and safety – Pond dipping – Wading – Messing about in the river
Discussing future training requirements

There are entrances by footpath via Ellerman Avenue or Great Chertsey Road
Train; Whitton Staition from Waterlooe rail staition
Bus: 111, 290, H22
PLEASE NOTE: This course will involve wading in water, please wear clothes that can get dirty.

Course suitable for: People who work in schools, environmental educators especially those who work on sites with ponds and streams and workshop facilitators.
