The next LEEF training is a weekend residential called “Farming in the playground” on 13th and 14th November 2010. This is a course for people who are growing food in schools and is ideal for teachers, gardeners and education officers who already garden or would like to start growing vegetables and/or look after chickens or rabbits with groups of children. The residential is at the lovely Lambourne end, in a beautiful spot in the countryside at the end of the central line.
The course will include;
· Introduction to food growing
· How to start a vegetable patch
· Easy ways to look after happy chickens
