Trevor is an experienced environmental educator who has worked for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in the Holland Park Ecology Centre for over eight years. During his time there he has lead the development of a successful Forest School programme and the creation of an Edible Forest Teaching garden. Before working in Holland Park, Trevor was a primary school teacher for seven years and did lots of volunteering for the Epping Forest Centenary Trust, National Trust and a country park in Colchester. Trevor has had a lifelong interest in the environment and wildlife. He knows lots of random facts about animals, can name all 17 different types of penguin and has developed lots of random catchphrases to amuse the children and bemuse the adults! Who could forget: ‘I’m a hydrangea, stay away from strangers’.
